Page speed is the loading time that a website or web page takes to load and if you haven’t lately been checking your website’s loading time Google has done that job for you.

In a recent update, Google has been sending out warnings and notice to those who have verified properties on Google search console to let webmasters know they need to fix the load time of the pages which are slow.

The email explains which pages are below average in loading time and recommends to take a look at Chrome User Experience Report to update the pages.

Google also offers recommendations to fix this problem -:

  • Use Lighthouse to audit pages
  • Fix low performing pages
  • Update your sitemap

Oliver HG Mason shared a screenshot on twitter showing the warning message that is shared to the slow websites.
